Not impressed

I dont think this works it gave me and my husband the exact same skin reading and he has very different skin then I do. I feel like they base your skin type by the geographical climate you live in.

女性の味方です! Beautecam最高o(^_^)o

Does what it said

Very good app my skin is really bad

This is not interesting, even worse not ready for US

This app is not ready for US. "How to" is all written in Japanese. "Support" is also listed in Japanese. Some of the existing users are 11 years old. I just dont get it.

This app doesnt work

I got this at sxsw and was very excited to use it and tell me friends about it, until......I try to log in with Facebook, the app accepts the credentials and then says it failed to log me in, try again later. The same thing happens with twitter. Finally, I signed up with the app and created a profile. Tried logging in with my new credentials and it still denied me. Over it - throwing the lense in the trash.

Waste of time

This app doesnt do anything. I cant setup an account. The Facebook login doesnt work.

One Bad App

This is a sad shame friends! It is not even worth your time. Im an aesthetician and I thought this sounded really exciting but low and behold its just ANOTHER PLOY for those cosmetic companies to get their GREEDY little hands all over you and take advantage of your insecurities. Now if your a willing participant, go for it. I will remind you this little gadget is made in CHINA and who knows if the advise it gives you is even truth or not. Good luck and stay strong my friends!

useful to me

First, Id like to rectify what Adorned Aesthetics wrote: this is NOT made in China but in JAPAN. I did my research before buying the lens, and writing this review! Its 100% Japanese technology and all parts are manufactured in Japan. And the quality of the skin analysis is pretty accurate to me. Also, I dont know where she saw "the ploy of cosmetics companies to get their hands all over you" because there is no such evidence. IMO they are quite impartial. For those who can read Japanese, try to set your phone language settings to Japanese, and you will be able to get in-app counseling by a certified BA who will give you a more in depth analysis of your skin, and personalized advice on how to care for your skin. I tried it, and its pretty cool. I admit, the cosmetic information is still too little, and mostly written in Japanese, so that is something I would definitely want them to work on. It takes some skill to take a clear picture of your skin, but the results are accurate. I researched the company, and they are not some fluke. Their analysis is based on years of research. There is also a chat room where users can discuss skin care and make up, which sounds fun. Personally, I use it to check my skin care regimen. When I start using new products, I take before and after pics and check how my skin has progressed (or worsened in some cases) after 2 weeks or 1 month. Again, IMO its a pretty nifty app, and I can only hope they will improve their English service along with the Japanese version.
